The new Successful Early Entrepreneurial Development Program, or SEED, offers benefits for small independent contractors to support their current operation and equip them for the future. |

| Q. Will my labor costs increase? |
| A. Using IBEW electricians does not automatically increase your labor cost. The job cost equation is: Labor x Time + Material = Job Cost. Assuming that material costs are the same, studies have shown that a better trained worker is more efficient, resulting in jobs being completed faster. In the case of IBEW trained workers – much faster. This will actually lower labor costs. Finally, well trained IBEW electricians require less supervision, freeing you to focus on business development. |

| A. A small business with less than 5 employees would require a nominal bond to ensure benefits. Bob Foster, 40-year IBEW Retiree, teaches both Apprenticeship classes and Continuing Education Programs focused on Fire Alarms, PLCs, and Motor Controls.

Our training is offered in a new state-of-the-art training facility developed by the Atlanta Electrical Joint Apprentice Committee in cooperation with the IBEW Local 613 and the Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association. It was also supported by significant donations of equipment by major electrical supply manufacturers for superior hands on training.
